Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment is pleased to announce the UK release of Second Coming; available now on digital and DVD from the 6th July.
Second Coming tells the story of a middle-aged woman (Nadine Marshall) who mysteriously find herself pregnant; yet the maths doesn’t add up. Having been told that she’ll never conceive again – and also despite the fact that she hasn’t been intimate with her husband (Idris Elba) nor with any other man, means this pregnancy is unexplainable.
Prior to this cryptic discovery, she, Mark and son JJ (Kai Francis-Lewis) are a close-knit family living in London. Upon the arrival of Jackie’s seemingly Immaculate Conception, and unable to explain her pregnancy, Jackie says nothing, but knows it is only a matter of time before questions are asked, and accusations start to fly.
As the child inside her grows, so does the concern for her state of mind from her friends and family; until not only the her sanity is in question.
As the child inside her starts to grow, so does everyone’s concern for her state of mind, until it’s not only the paternity of the child that is in question – but Jackie’s sanity as well.
