Festival season has us bringing home practicality into our wardrobes – and we have laid our eyes on some classy backpacks floating about! They are a cute and casual addition to any outfit, and not to forget the comfort benefits backpacks have on our backs and shoulders. I for one, somehow manage to put my whole life in my handbag (literally Mary Poppins-like), and it can sometimes weigh a tonne! So having the weight balanced puts much less strain on your body and hips.
Plus, you have hands free, which is always nice. also no red marks on your shoulders or forearms after carrying your heavy tote or handbag (you know the ones I mean!) I certainly feel like a different person when I have a backpack on, I feel lighter, my arms start swinging about, its great. It can be a relief not to be lugging a heavy bag on one side..especially now the weather is hotting up.
We’ve noticed a few celebs sporting some stylish leather look backpacks from the likes of Kylie Jenner, Coleen Rooney, Taylor Swift and plenty more are in on the backpack action.

Michael Kors Small Rhea Studded Backpack, £285, available at Harrods. This compact design will give edge to any look, with it’s pyramid studs and luxe polished hardware. Drawing on this seasons must-have silhouette, it is complete with exposed zip compartments and the signature MK logo lettering.
Matt and Nat’s Brave Backpack, £85. Their signature Dwell material is soft, textured and light. Taking inspiration from the soft hues from nature, their bag are composed of 100% vegan leather and all bag linings are always made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Features a top zipper closure with side slit pockets, front zipper pocket and adjustable shoulder straps.
Stella McCartney Black Falabella Deer Faux Brushed Leather Backpack, £755. The falabella backpack features a black shaggy deer fabric with ruthenium chain hardware. There are also two adjustable straps, flap front, draw cord and magnetic snap fastening.
Fiorelli Parker Backpack, £59, is a smart, slim model with a statement square design and block colouring in different shades available. Features adjustable straps and a neat grab handle too, with zip top closure and a handy side zip pocket to keep your bits and bobs at hand.
