It may be something of an unlikely collaboration, King’s Cross’ Filling Station and Everyman Cinemas. But believe us when we say this is one cinematic experience you won’t want to miss.
This spring, Everyman Cinemas is taking over the ex-petrol station by King’s Cross to screen the most notable road trip films in history. The unique experience will see movie-goers settling beneath blankets under the retro canopy, listen to the films through individual wireless headphones whilst watching on the big screen; creating an experience reminiscent to the drive-in theaters in California circa 1960’s. Expect to have your thirst quenched with bottled beer and your tummies filled with American style hot dogs.
The event will screen fifteen different ‘road trip’ films that include Bonnie and Clyde, Cars, The Graduate, Five Easy Pieces, Chinatown, Badlands, Drive, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and more.
Everyman Road Movies at the Kings Cross Filling Station, from April 24th to May 5th, book tickets here.
