Fashion Week may well have become an arena for fashion-lovers to showcase their personal style – hence the look-at-me outfits and abundance of street style photographers milling around on the Somerset House cobbles and outside of the showcase tents – but for those of us who are dashing around the city from backstage hot-box to designer presentation, back to the office and then onto post-show dinners and drinks, the attire needs to be somewhat more practical.
So whilst we’ll be sporting bright-as-you-like Nike Free Runs and muted New Balance (nothing looks better paired with a leather pencil skirt) for all other more ‘dressed-up’ occasions we have our eye on these. . .
Low, dressy and fashion-forward enough to be worn day to night, we love the flash of embellished heel, the ladylike squared off toe (anything beats pointy stilettos in the comfort stakes) and soft suede texture . . .
And if you can’t quite stretch to the Miu Miu’s snap up these look-alikes for a fraction of the price. We won’t tell!
