Savse smoothies owes a lot to the founders’ mother. Whilst she was pregnant 30 years ago, Nina found out that she had an iron deficiency. Instead of reaching for medicines, she decided to get blending. She combined super foods, both fruit and vegetables, in homemade smoothies to dose her body up with all the natural nutrients she needed.
Her children grew up drinking the various fresh combinations, and when they were old enough to realise just how beneficial they were, they set about bottling up her original recipes under the Savse name.
Their priorities are avoiding anything artificial or processed. They are 100% natural and all contain the equivalent of two portions of fruit and veg.
Then there’s the price tag. Yes, we seem to be in the middle of a juicing revolution, but some of the price tags out there aren’t suitable for a daily lunch break buy. At £2.29 for a 250ml bottle though, you can add one of these to your shopping basket without wincing. Oh and they taste pretty darned good to boot. Just in case you’re wondering.
