Forman’s famous smokehouse premises will be opening its doors to the food-loving public this February for a complimentary Open Day, to celebrate some of the finest British produce and artisan foods… Taking place in its award-winning venue “Forman’s Fish Island” in East London, Hackney Wick.

The event will offer the chance to delve in and try and buy food and drink from selected Forman & Field suppliers; ranging from cakes and bakes to fresh and cured meats. Discover new brands including Fudge Kitchen (sumptuous handmade fudge); G Desserts (unique gluten-free desserts); Artisan du Chocolat (with a tempting selection of treats); Hepburns and Mike Maloney Country (fresh and cured meats); and Pugh’s Piglets (a range of suckling pigs and Italian-style porchetta), to name a few…!
Of course, Forman & Son’s very own world famous London Cure smoked salmon will be present for you to sample too – along with a tour round the on-site smokehouse to see how their famous delicacy has been produced for over a century.
Enjoy live talks and demonstrations from some of the other food producers throughout the day to brush up on your cooking knowledge.
