Charlie and Caroline Gladstone, the founders of Pedlars home goods shops, have teamed up with singer, author and broadcaster Cerys Matthews to present an outdoors festival unlike any other. The Good Life Experience is a family-friendly one day celebration of culture, food and the great outdoors, hosted by Matthews and the Gladstones at the Hawarden Estate Farm Shop in Flintshire. Visitors can try their hand at axe throwing, yoga, archery or cooking over a campfire while enjoying live performances from a gypsy band and Matthews herself, among other artists.
The Good Life Experience will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m, with some fringe events and performances taking place on September 19 and 21. The Hawarden Estate Farm Shop is located on Chester Rd, Hawarden, Flintshire, CH5 3FB. Camping facilities will be available for those looking to take advantage of the woodland setting.
