Cara Delevingne is the ultimate golden girl of Fashion Month. The 20 year-old Brit supermodel has stormed high profile runways at New York, London, Milan and Paris gracing nearly 40 catwalks in total. Not only is she the must-have model of the season, but she is also sister to fellow socialite and model Poppy Delevingne and rumored girlfriend of One Direction’s Harry Styles.
But despite her equally famous sister and stylist mother, Cara has carved out a place of her own in the fashion world. Currently the face of Burberry Beauty‘s new lipstick Lip Velvet, she was also the face of Burberry’s Spring Summer 2012 campaign and has featured in ad campaigns for H&M Authentic Collection, Dominic Jones Jewelry, Blumarine and Zara.
For Fashion Month she walked the runway for top fashion house and designers including Jason Wu, Preen, Marc Jacobs, Dsquared², Giles, Marchesa, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Costume National, Missoni, Acne, Marc Jacobs and even the iconic Chanel. Talk about a busy girl! However if that alone doesn’t convince you of her popularity, Cara Delevingne has also been a guest at numerous fashion week parties including the launch party of the Anna Dello Russo at H&M Collection where she posed alongside the collection’s namesake.
In addition to her modelling, Delevingne appears alongside Keira Knightley in Joe Wright’s new film version of Anna Karenina. We expect to see Cara in more films in the future, as she told Bazaar, “Acting has always been my dream – it’s definitely where I see my future”, and that future certainly looks bright for the extraordinarily beautiful young starlet. Not only is she gorgeous and talented, but we also have a sneaking suspicion that she’s a hell of a lot of fun to be around too, if some of her instagram and twitpics are anything to go by.
