“An ode to sun-worship, folk art and free expression,” is how Holly Fulton’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection was described in the show’s programme. Indeed, the pieces were every bit that depiction, featuring bright colors and patterns along with pastel pieces adorned with dainty floral embellishments. Looks with clean, tailored lines mixed in cohesively with those less structured, making for a well-rounded collection with just the right amount of variety. The wide array of styles from crop tops, to tailored pants, to long, billowy dresses were all a breath of fresh air, and I was left desiring every single ensemble.
