Based on Lois Lowry’s children’s novel, The Giver tells the story of a utopian world that 18-year-old Jonas soon discovers isn’t as perfect as everyone is shaped to think.
Starring Brenton Thwaites, (who previously played a dreamy Prince Philip in Maleficent), Jonas is appointed as the community’s newest Receiver of Memories. He goes through extensive training with the Giver, (Academy Award Winner Jeff Bridges), and soon discovers that the seemingly perfect world he’s lived in all his life is actually very dystopian. He learns about pain, sadness, and war: Things that no one in the community is allowed to know of.

The film features an A-List cast including Meryl Streep, Katie Holmes, Alexander Skarsgard and a cameo by Taylor Swift. Filled with drama, action, and romance, the film is sure to be a hit.
