The centenary issue of British Vogue has finally arrived on newsstands, and to truly celebrate the iconic magazine’s 100 years of publication they are reflecting back on trends of the last 10 decades; the ground-breaking fashion shoots, and celebrating contributors of the magazine both past and present in the special collector’s issue.

Vogue editor-in-chief meets the centenary issue’s cover star, the Duchess of Cambridge, on location for a shoot of the century, photographed by Josh Olins in the Norfolk countryside. The Duchess appears in a 10-page shoot, dressed casually but reflecting her love of the countryside. She was very much involved with the shoot, selecting pieces, and the resulting images capture a personal and natural feel.
You can also expect to see ten decades of game-changing fashion within the pages, with a special shoot captured by Mario Testino, where 10 models who have epitomised British style pose for the world-renowned photographer.

Expect to see Vogue’s favourite illustrators interpreting exuberant fashion houses, and a fun shoot where Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone gatecrash a Vogue shoot, and find out what they have in store for us in their forthcoming film, Absolutely Fabulous. As well as reminiscing over the past, Vogue looks to the future to predict what our wardrobes might be like over the next 50 years too… And plenty more of fabulous fashion to sink your teeth into.
