Academy Award nominee Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly preparing to sign a $15 million deal with French fashion house Dior, giving her one more reason to celebrate her international success this year.
The lucrative multimillion-dollar deal is said to last for three years. Once the ink dries and it becomes official, Lawrence will be joining the ranks of past Dior spokespeople Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron.
The 23-year-old actress became a spokeswoman for Dior in 2012, appearing in her first campaign with the label in February 2013. She was selected by creative director Raf Simons after he saw her breakthrough performance in the first installment of The Hunger Games film franchise.
Simons said he was originally impressed by Jennifer Lawrence’s “youth and her classic beauty, but also her force of character and the complexity she’s capable of embodying at such a young age.” His choice was a smart one, indeed, because soon after joining forces with the actress, she skyrocketed to fame and picked up a number of accolades for her work in Silver Linings Playbook.
Since then, she’s almost exclusively donned Dior at red carpet events all over the world. Lawrence was wearing a strapless black and white Dior gown when she won Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes earlier this month, and although many critics said the dress was a fashion miss, almost all of her other Dior styles have earned great praise. We’re expecting to see her continue her trend of Dior brand loyalty when she arrives for her red carpet appearance at the Academy Awards in March. Maybe a Dior dress will be the lucky charm that helps her win the Oscar for her role in American Hustle!
Who could forget the beautiful faux-Dior campaign that abounded across the internet after she took a spectacularly graceful tumble at the 2013 Oscars on the way to collect her award? Surely a signing has been on the cards since then.

We are definitely ready to see more of Jennifer’s gorgeous Dior looks on red carpets for the next few years! In honor of her new gig as the face of the high-profile fashion label, take a look at some of J-Law’s best red carpet gowns below (not so surprisingly, all but a few are Dior darling!):
