Jo Malone has been opening our eyes to appreciate the finer things in life this spring; from the fresh scents in our British Herb Gardens and now, it’s time for a cuppa… with the new Rare Teas Collection.

This precious range of colognes showcase the meticulously hand-picked and prepared teas from Japanese foothills to China to the Himalayas. Jo Malone is embracing centuries of craftsmanship that date back to ancient arts of our much-loved tea in all its interesting flavours.
Those of you who remember and loved the 2011 tea-inspired collection will be excited by these new, refined fragrances.

All of the six scents look so lovely that we thought we’d share a quick overview of each of them so you can decide which one will be your favourite:
Silver Needle Tea: Romantic, floral, and velvety, this lush scent comes from silver needle tea handpicked from the valleys of Fujian, China at dawn. Rose, sage, and musk come together in this delicate and glistening tea infusion.
Darjeeling Tea: Exotic and rich, this sweet floral scent comes from tea picked high in the foothills of the Himalayas. Jasmine and freesia create an enticing mix while notes of apricot and Indian davana for a heady, radiant scent.
Jade Leaf Tea: Smooth jade leaf grown off the southern island of Kyushu is steamed then mixed with notes of pomelo, sesame, and mate leaves to form a crisp and invigorating cologne.
Oolong Tea:We were lucky enough to get our hands on this scent, concocted with tea straight out of the mountains of Jiangsu, China. Dried onto bamboo, the tea scent has a creamy wooden elegance mixed with luxurious bitter cocao, tonka bean, hay, and tobacco leaves.
Midnight Black Tea: Rich, seductive, and intrinsically exotic, puerh from China’s Yunnan province is matured for intensity, then the tea leaves are enriched with oriental vanilla, warm amber, and smokey guaiac wood for an alluring and sensual scent.
Golden Needle Tea: Mysterious and dark, notes of leather and spice fill the bottle where inspiration from the warm interior of Chinese tea houses is clearly highlighted. A deep and smooth scent is finished off with smooth sandalwood and benzoil resin, transporting us to a rare and luxurious world.
Rare Teas Colognes are available in April 2016, 175ml, £240.
