With a career that has spanned two decades and continues to ride high, Kate Moss in undoubtedly one of the most iconic models of our times. And so it seems apt therefore that artist Allen Jones has enveloped her in a bronze metal bodysuit, the ultimate metallic mannequin, for this season’s Pop magazine.

The cover coincides with this autumn’s Christie’s auction where this very image will be going under the hammer, along with a collection of Moss related pieces, including photographs taken by legends such as Annie Leibovitz, Mario Testino, Sam Taylor-Wood and Irving Penn, as well as that Marc Quinn gold sculpture of the Brit model.
Considered a “living icon” by the German collector behind the Christie’s auciton, Gert Elfering told the Associated Press that “Kate is the ultimate modern muse and we ill be seeing her images in major museums and private collections for years to come.”
