Liquid Matte Lipsticks. Something I saw progressively growing in trend on my Instagram recently, and I have been intrigued by them ever since I laid eyes on them. I think its the novelty of spreading on a lipstick with a wand, and the density in colour payoff is just, heavenly. And they’re meant to be super long-lasting too.
I found LA Splash Cosmetics through Instagram a while ago because of their waterproof liquid lipsticks. I saw little clips of lipstick swatches being run under water, rubbed to death, and nope, not a movement in sight. Loved it. I wanted it. But at that time, they were only available from their US website and the shipping was a little pricey! LA Splash Lip Couture’s rich waterproof shades will leave a velvety, matte finish that doesn’t move, or transfer. I love their range of bold shades, from pinky nude ‘Innocent Vixen’ to solid black ‘Venom’.
This innovative formula glides on as liquid and dries super-matte. I put it to the test…I rubbed my fingers on it, I drank my morning coffee, oh I threw in eating my messy lunch in there too and I am pleased to say… it so works.

This one is ‘Venom’ – a rich deep dark burgundy red lipstick.
To remove these heavenly lip colours, simply use an oil-based makeup remover to break down the product, and remove gently.
