Life of the Party is a comedy about Deanna (played by Melissa McCarthy,) a mum who goes through a nasty divorce to realise that her biggest regret is not finishing her education.
Deanna decides to make this right by returning to the same college her daughter attends. Her daughter is sceptical about this plan, but she helps Deanna fit into the college scene by fixing her hair and sense of style. Going by Dee Rock, Deanna quickly starts to let go as she takes classes and goes to parties all while on the journey to find herself. It’s no shock that this leads to some pretty funny moments.
