Fashion Week can be a stressful time in any designer’s life. The economic pressures are high for Louise Gray, who reluctantly decided to take a two-season hiatus from the highly anticipated week-long fashion event.
The Glasgow School of Art graduate has already produced a number of successful collaborations with the likes of ASOS, Brora and Topshop make-up. The quirky yet brilliant designer plans to use this suspended leave to focus on consulting for other labels and designers.
Her playfully loud designs will be missed amongst the British runways for the next two seasons of London Fashion Week, but this is not the last we’ve heard of Gray – I’m sure of it.
