Marigay McKee, chief merchant of London’s most famous department store, Harrods has today announced her move from the store where she has worked for the last 14 years, to Saks, where she will become president.
“It’s with great sadness that I resign today,” she told Vogue.com, “It has been my absolute pleasure to spend the last 14 years of my life working at the world’s most luxurious department store. I take with me the satisfaction of knowing that I leave behind a great merchant team destined for huge success.”
McKee’s new role follows Saks multi billion dollar buyout by Hudson’s Bay Co.
