Tongue-in-cheek beauty brand, Benefit, have teamed up with Brit fashion designer Matthew Williamson to create another of their super-handy, multi-tasking limited edition make up boxes.

Entitled, The Rich Is Back, the set features a quad eyeshadow palette of three neutral shimmery shadows and a flashy vibrant pop of teal, the award-winning They’re Real! mascara, blusher in Gimme Fever and Benefit’s lip gloss in Inferno.
“This is high-octane glam makeup for dressing up to look fabulous & dance the night away!” said Williamson.
According to the designer, renowned for his love of the 70s and frequent use of bright, saturated peacock-hued prints (expressed in the Benefit box’s design) the collaboration is a perfect match. “They take a slightly irreverent, tongue-in-cheek approach. And the optimism expressed in the brand is something I like to do in my work.”
And whilst the packaging design is typical Williamson, the colour cosmetics themselves (as is the case at the designers catwalk shows) take more of a natural beauty approach, “I’m definitely of the mind-set less is more” he explained of the predominantly neutral collection.
