Last night, the Metropolitan Museum, New York once again opened doors for the annual Met Gala. It’s arguably one of the biggest events in fashion so here are some highlights from the red carpet.
Straight from Big Little Lies, Reese Witherspoon wore a thigh high navy gown by French designer Thierry Mugler. The look was a little bit different for her as we’re used to seeing her with her hair down but this time she opted for an edgier glam which we love.
Donatella Versace attended arm in arm with Kylie Jenner who was in full Versace also. Donatella was wearing a golden gown herself with her bleach blonde hair dip died at the tips to match her dress. While her muse for the night, Kylie, was in a nude, sheer gown embellished with delicate seashell detailing.
Kate Hudson arrived in full white, including her hair. The actress was in a white, one shoulder Stella McCartney gown, white nails and she even spray dyed her hair white. She even stuck to the ice queen look using silver accessories and a dark smokey eye.
Zendaya brought some tropical vibes to the Met Gala in a Dolce & Gabbana gown. The yellow gown featured flowers and red parrots which for us was one of the more memorable dresses of the night. We especially loved the hair and don’t get us started on her makeup – her glowy skin was finished off by a peachy blush and a flaming hot lip, she looked gorgeous.
Gigi Hadid was without her date Zayn last night but she was still rocking her Tommy x Gigi nude suit gown. At first glance her dress appears as a short blazer but as we take a proper look we can see the mesh train on her left side. She paired the outfit with a pair of black stilettos and black stockings.
Bella Hadid attended the gala in a black lace catsuit by Alexander Wang, showing of her slender supermodel figure. She accompanied the outfit with black heels, red nails and silver snake cuffs. Lets not forget the hair, Bella went for a chop, revealing a sexy collarbone for the look.
We love Selena Gomez and this time she didn’t fail to disappoint in a delicate cream gown by Coach. The small beaded flowers on the dress were so gorgeous and the plunge neckline gave the look a bit more of a sexy edge. She too opted for a bob and accessorized using a Tiffany’s necklace.
