Big news. BIG news! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have announced that they were married on Saturday in France’s Chateau Miraval.
We’re sending them bundles of congratulations from here at Beauty And The Dirt, firstly on their nuptials, and secondly, on keeping the ceremony private, and enjoying it solely with their nearest and dearest.
The newlyweds are said to have quietly obtained a marriage license from a California judge, who performed the ceremony himself in France.
There are few details for us to latch on to (all part and parcel of a romantic low key ceremony), but according to reports, Angelina walked down the aisle with the elder of her sons, Maddox and Pax, whilst Zahara and Vivienne followed, scattering petals as they went. Shiloh and Knox were the ring bearers. If that image doesn’t bring an ‘aw shucks’ smile to your face, we don’t know what will.
