Are you forever coveting the wardrobes of Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe without the funds to replicate their style? Well, Marks and Spencer may be your lunchtime shop of choice today as the Marble Arch store plays host to the first ever Shwop Shop.
Set up by Oxfam, the in house initiative hopes to encourage shoppers to bring in their unwanted clothes (of any brand) to be resold, reused or recycled in an eco-friendly sustainable way.
Joanna Lumley, who is the face of the M&S campaign, has of course also donated clothes and will be acting as shop-girl today, working the tills and helping shoppers pick out the perfect purchase.
The Shwop Shop initiative which launched last year, will be open for just two days, with new pieces available each day for you to trade with your unwanted unworn wardrobe.
