Brought to you by True North, My SkinCoach is a flexible mobile app that enables you to do your own skin diagnosis and work out a skincare plan that is tailor-made for you using their products. True North has been one of my favourite new skincare launches this year, it is so gentle on the skin. Perfect for sensitive skin, so will suit many skin types and ages and I love how hydrating the serum and moisturisers are.
To really see how well your products are doing you can start measuring this in their new and unique App. Finding out your skin’s specific needs is really easy as you can precisely measure a range of essential indicators from mild to severe, including dryness, dehydration, redness and lines.
First came the My Skin Navigator, also developed by True North, a skin-scanning machine that provides accurate skin analysis. This advanced technology takes a picture of your face and scans it, analysing the skin in-depth to give you some really valuable insight into it’s condition. With this technology in mind True North then went on to develop an App which can do the same thing but from the comfort of your own home. The App, which really is a first in the skincare and beauty market, will tell you the age of your skin while picking up your current location to cleverly tell you everything you need to know about UV Index and air quality – all key factors in making the right decisions when it comes to your skin care. It will then recommend suitable True North products and with every diagnosis you do, you can track how much your skin is improving and alter your skincare plan accordingly.
Over 100,000 Scandinavian women were tested over a 3-year period so it’s about as accurate as you can get. Available on IOS and Android, you can download it by typing in My SkinCoach into the App or Play Store to simply start your analysis.
True North is a skincare range inspired by Scandinavian simplicity. They focus on non-aggressive answers to skin problems and are known for being kind yet really effective on all skin-types. The range is well-priced and ranges from £10-£49.
