If you’re obsessed with trying new makeup products, you’ve probably lamented the high prices of luxury makeup brands. Beauty Pie, the newest member of Marcia Kilgore’s empire, which already includes Bliss Spas, Fitflop, and Soap & Glory, aims to solve these wallet woes.
Superglazy lip gloss, factory priced at £2.14
The company is a new luxury makeup brand that offers monthly subscriptions that unlock unreal savings for subscribers. Makeup enthusiasts know that feeding the addiction isn’t cheap, but Beauty Pie is offering high quality products that compare to other leading luxury brands, for a fraction of the price.

The pricing model is based on price transparency, where they break down exactly how much it costs to develop each product. That way, buyers pay only cost price for products instead of being subjected to the ridiculous markups that come with third-party distributors and retailers. Each product has a price transparency chart on the breakdown, which demonstrates how much is costs to develop each product and how those savings are passed directly to you. Non-members can try out the products as well, each product is listed with two prices, one “regular price” that is based on market prices for comparable products, and one members-only “factory price” with zero markup.

For as low as £10 per month, you’ll have access to “warehouse” prices for every single product in Beauty Pie’s comprehensive collection. The price is not a monthly subscription full of random samples. Instead, Beauty Pie urges you to think of membership as a “backstage pass” to luxury products that you can carefully shop for, select, and order yourself. Why not save money on all the essentials you’re regularly purchasing? The brand also has plans to expand the collection to include high-end skincare products.
Beauty Pie’s minimalist packaging is more than just sleek to look at. The company is committed to not using over-the-top packaging, most of which ends up in landfills anyway. Instead, the company uses plant-based ink and recycled or recyclable packaging materials as much as possible. This is not only better for the environment, but dramatically cuts down the price of high-quality products.
