Georgia May Jagger has been announced as the new face of Thierry Mugler. The 22 year old model will take on the role as the brand’s official spokesperson in July, for their fragrance Angel.
It seems the Mugler allure runs in the family, her mother Jerry Hall is famed for modelling for the fashion brand from 1995 to 1997. The blonde bombshell referenced this when she announced the project on Twitter…
‘So proud to be the new face of @Thierry_Mugler Angel, 20 years after my mother @JerryHall_ ! (sic)’
The last big name to model for the Angel scent was Eva Mendes. Both Jagger and Mendes are a big deal in the fashion stakes, but their looks couldn’t be more different. We can’t wait to see what angle the campaign will take.
According to Georgia we can expect a bit of glitter. She shot the campaign with Solve Sundsbo back in December. She says ‘It was a very creative ad. At one point, I was painted blue and covered in sparkles. I was still scrubbing glitter off at Christmas! But I actually quite enjoy a different make-up look sometimes’.
