Seth MacFarlane directs, produces, co-writes and plays the role of the cowardly sheep farmer Albert in A Million Ways to Die in the West. After Albert backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried) leaves him for another man, played by the beautifully moustached Neil Patrick Harris, who also showcases his dancing skills in the movie.

When a mysterious and beautiful woman (Charlize Theron) rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw (Liam Neeson), arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test. He introduces her to the town and the dangers of the West (which include being crushed by a giant block of ice, gored by a charging bull and burnt to a cinder by a faulty camera), and she in turn trains him up to be a worthier opponent to the new-in-town outlaw.
Starring alongside MacFarlane are Oscar® winner Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, Sarah Silverman and Neil Patrick Harris.
