We’re sure you’ve heard the buzz surrounding Ben Wheatley’s new film, High-Rise. The wait is now over and it is released in cinemas today; so we recommend you get to the cinema at some point this weekend! We have the teaser trailer here for the film below, which is adapted from J. G. Ballard’s visionary novel…

Ben Wheatley is known for his brilliant, slightly quirky and alternative films like Sightseers. Starring Tom Hiddleston, Sienna Miller, Jeremy Irons and Elisabeth Moss; High-Rise is the tantalising and unnerving glimpse into the titular high-rise building, and the residents within…
Set in 1975, and two miles west of London. Dr. Robert Laing moves into his new apartment seeking to stay under the radar. He finds that the building’s residents have no intention of leaving him to stay anonymous and he is resigned to the dynamics unfolding around him. But, he bites the bullet and even becomes neighbourly.

Laing finds it hard to hold onto his good manners and sanity as he struggles to establish his position. Parties, booze, sex, and things start to go out of control; yet Laing finally starts to feel at home…
