Houston, we have a problem. The new full-length trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar is stunning, and now we can hardly wait until the film’s autumn release! The new footage shows us Matthew McConaughey’s character grappling with going into space on a mission critical to the fate of the human race, and leaving his children behind on Earth, uncertain when he’ll return. We also get a closer look at Anne Hathaway’s character than we’ve seen in the previous trailers, like the rather uneventful teaser trailer released back in December.
The space visuals and special effects in this trailer are amazing, so we can only imagine how breathtaking they’ll be once the film hits the big screen. Interstellar also stars Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow and Nolan’s go-to guy Michael Caine.
