Toni Collette and Thomas Haden Church star in this movie about a music journalist who is forced on the trail of her ex-musician boyfriend who disappeared years ago, in order to save her place on the magazine. Reluctant, and anxious, Toni Collette’s character, Ellie, sets out on her search and along the way meets a would-be documentary filmmaker who is keen to make the journey with her. She also meets a rather dashing guitar player, but that’s another story.
