Under The Skin stars Scarlett Johansson and is directed by Jonathan Glazer, and follows the story of an alien in human form (Scarlett Johansson). The movie, though of the sci-fi genre, primarily angles itself at depicting how our world appears from an entirely outsider perspective.
Rather than focusing its attentions on New York, LA or some other such stateside venue as you might expect, the film is shot entirely in London and on location in Scotland. It was critically acclaimed and the Venice, Toronto and London film festivals, the score achieving particular acclaim.
Studio Canal’s Under The Skin will hit UK cinemas on 14th March, following the Scottish premiere at the Glasgow film festival on the 2nd March.
