It’s the chance of a lifetime for rising stars across the country of the likes we haven’t seen since Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint queued up once upon a time to audition for the roles of Harry, Hermione and Ron in the first adaptation of Harry Potter. The open casting call was covered nationwide in the press, and it was the young ones’ first taste of what life would be in the spotlight. And just look where they are now.
The new Warner Bros feature film Pan based on J.M Barrie’s Peter Pan will be directed by Jo Wright of Pride and Prejudice, Atonement and Anna Karenina fame, and is on the hunt for its lead character. They are hosting an open casting call on Sunday 23rd February at Wembley Arena to find the lucky one who will take on the role of the boy who never grew up. He will join Hugh Jackman who is set to play the villainous Blackbeard.
The worldwide release date for the film has already been confirmed as 17th July 2015.
If there’s any drama king out there you know that meets the following criteria, be sure to take them along! You never know, you might be the one they thank ten years from now in their Oscar acceptance speech…
