Beauty and the Dirt attended a special launch of the new System Professional range; which have announced sisters Poppy and Chloe Delevingne as Global Brand Ambassadors and got a chance to have a catch up with the ladies themselves about the new exciting products..
The Wella hair care brand are known for their focus on the science of innovative hair care – and the Delevingne sisters are representing the new range of System professional with EnergyCode™ Complex. Now this is where the revolutionary part comes in; this enables unique and bespoke products to each and every one of you. How you ask? Well, with the new EnergyCode Mapping™ the hairdresser examines your hair strands from root to tip, to diagnose your specific hair needs – as no hair is the same, not even sisters, as the Delevingne’s know. You will then be prescribed your own bespoke and personal care coded system to help transform your hair. Talk about luxurious in-salon experiences?!
To put it in better words, here’s what the girls and Hair Ambassador Halley Brisker said about the new SP hair range…
Hannah: What made you choose hair care over other beauty focuses in particular?
Poppy: For me, hair is the most prominent when it it comes to beauty, my moods come down to my hair. If I wake up in the morning and I’m having a bad hair day, it’s how the rest of my day pans out! So getting involved with a hair brand like System Professional seemed like such an ideal choice, because it is really what care about most.
Chloe: And we get to do something together! It’s been really fun.
P: And we’ve never done anything together before, and its so nice doing a campaign about sisters, and celebrating our similarities, but our differences too and what makes us unique which is everything system professional stands for.
H: What made you choose System Professionals?
P: What I really enjoy about it is the fact they do celebrate you as being unique, and you’re not just classified by your hair, for example frizzy hair, thin hair – it’s actually you. Just the same as you treat your skin, why shouldn’t you treat our hair the same way? After bleaching my hair in June, I realised I needed to start taking proper hair of my hair and after using the products, the results have been life changing, and transformed my hair. My hair is even in better condition now than it was pre-bleached!
Halley B: There’s definitely a couple of differences with this range that sets it apart from other ranges, which is that they’ve taken the most up to date and scientific methods which is taking individuality and peoples hair and looking at all the things in the hair, lipids, keratin – and turning it onto a proper bespoke hair care system. It’s not just a repackaged bit of cream, it’s a totally new journey in hair.
H: What’s the process of getting your very own formula made?
HB: Well you would go into the salon and have a diagnostic service done,
P: They test your hair!
C: They take pictures of your scalp, the ends of your hair, everything.
HB: The girls each have their own individual code even though they’re sisters and that code might continually evolve depending on the weather or stresses to the hair, they’ll have a look at your scalp through a microscope, to help find the right EnergyCoded products to help replenish, revitalize the energy of the hair.
HB: The scent is also a big thing, they’ve put in specific scents for each code and when they’re mixed together in each bespoke range, you’ll get your own unique scent too.
H: How many products do you have available?
P: A lot! There are around 66 products. I also like to use Perfect Ends, that’s a real goodie, for bleach blonde endies.
