The PPQ fashion show was one of our LFW favorites— full of fresh colors like bright orange, lavender, green and blue. Mikaela Alleyson, creative director for Lord & Berry created runway makeup looks that perfectly complemented runway looks, introducing the models as “modern señoritas” through her makeup looks. Alleyson took inspiration from Northern Spain and “re-designed the traditional Spanish señorita with a modern and couture touch, with focus heavily on the eyebrows and lips.
The look begins with a matte base and slight glow from Lord & Berry Blush in “Honey.” Brows were full and brushed out with the Magic Brow pencil and Diva Wet & Dry Eyebrow Powder. Eye lids were softly swept with Seta Eyeshadow in “Ranja,” and “Cardinal.” Alleyson gave the models full lashes (keeping with the señorita idea) with Back in Black Mascara. The look is finished with bright lip in one of two shades. Lord & Berry Absolute Intensity Lipstick in “Flame Red” popped on darker complected models while the fairer models wore “La Fiesta,” a crayon lipstick in lilac created by Alleyson exclusively for the show that will be available for purchase in February.
