Never say say never to Ralph – because the man behind the Polo logo has pledged to restore one of Paris’ most famous art institutions, the École National Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Known for its beautiful architecture, the American brand hopes to restore the buildings that were so extraordinary over 350 years ago.

By fully-funding the renovation – what better feet to christen the modernized school grounds than a catwalk model sporting the Ralph Lauren autumn/winter 2013-14 womenswear collection? Scheduled for 8th October – this date marks the designer’s first ever European show.

As if this wasn’t already a big deal, Lauren plans to host a gala dinner in the college courtyard – to commemorate the (sure-to-be-unforgetable) occasion. As for other courageous moves for Ralph Lauren, his spring/summer 2014 collection is said to debut during New York Fashion week in September… as usual.
