In a first, for both Charlotte Tilbury and Selfridges, next month sees the iconic make up artist launch the House of Rock’n’Kohl (aptly named for Tilbury signature smoky kohl-rimmed eyes) – a week-long concept store dedicated to exploring the beauty in its wider fashion, art and cultural context.

Offering up her extensive expertise (she has worked on campaigns for everyone from Tom Ford to Etro, with all manner of supermodels, photographers and fash mags) by way of ‘Tilbury Transformations’ – more than just a shop-floor makeover this is the real backstage, catwalk and beauty editorial deal, a ‘Quick Flick Eye Bar’ where Charlotte’s renowned feline flick, plus other trend-led eye looks will be recreated (free of charge) and Charlotte’s personal ‘What’s In My MakeUp Kit’ recommendations from across the Beauty Hall.
There will also be daily ‘tricks and tips’ with Charlotte sharing her industry insider knowledge and live demonstrations whilst evenings will see the go-to make up artist hosting intimate ‘on the sofa’ panel discussions with some of the industries most cutting-edge trend makers including Nicola Formichetti, Chris Levine, Lisa Eldridge and Malcolm Edwards. Plus there’s word that supers Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne will be showing their much-papped faces.
There will be a global exclusive as a new Kate Moss portrait ( a collaboration between fashion, art and beauty) is set to be unveiled and The Kissing Gallery, in association with charity Kid’s Company sees some of the most famous and fashionable lips in the industry (including Tom Ford, Sienna Miller, Alice Temperley and Carine Roitfeld) donating their ‘mwah’ lip prints for charity.
Charlotte Tilbury’s House of Rock ‘n’ Kohl opens Monday 17th June at 10am until Sunday 23rd June. To book tickets to the evening beauty seminars and register for e-mail updates please log onto charlottetilbury.com.
