Of my many addictions the one people find most disturbing is my addiction to lip balm. I have dry lips, they peel, they are always the first body part to feel sensitive to cold, wind, heat. I fear I will run out of good balms so I have a lot of them. I am a lip balm hoarder!
I have them in coat pockets, purses, handbags, bathrooms, kitchens, random desk tops. I have one always placed near by passport so it will accompany me on any flight. And I apply in public.

I also have a love of childhood candy. I love sugary sherberty things, jelly beans, love hearts, skittles. I like them for their nostalgia trip, I remember how comforted I was by them as a kid. I only ate Cheese, onion, tomato and sweets for many years after my grandfather announced that the chicken he had just given me was in fact my pet rabbit.
I sought solace in things that never had a face, imagine my thrills when I discovered Lip Smackers; lip balms that taste like every Skittle flavour. You can get green apple, refreshing, tangy. Banana berry, like a childhood dessert. Mango tangelo exotically sweet. Strawberry – a must, strawberry starfruit, my favourite because it’s the pink one and has a little sherbet kick to it. There’s raspberry, berry punch and wild berry. This is a heavenly rainbow of taste, the lip smacker is an infusion of beeswax and sesame oil, so it’s instantly soothing and plumping and it makes your lips taste as if you’ve been eating all day candy but with none of the calories. Brilliantly satisfying and gorgeously soft lips. They are lip comfort and balm on many levels.
