The brow has become THE most defining part of the face. How your brows look define not only your look but how you wake up, how you do your make up, how you feel about yourself.
I don’t know how I lived before Benefit’s Gimme Brow, a volumising eyebrow gel. Even paying close attention to brows and having them dyed as often as possible, there’s always going to be that day where suddenly you wake up and you feel your face is like a potato – bland, lumpy and without definition. There’s always going to be that day when the brows look sparse and faded. To me, lustrous brows equal lustrous life. When I popped into the Benefit salon to have my brows dyed, I saw their amazing new range of brow products, all beautifully packaged in silver, like mini dream rockets.
Gimme Brow has been redesigned but still amazing, there’s a Brow Cream Gel Colour and a Goof Proof eyebrow pencil for filling in. The colour only works on the actual eyebrow hair, so it glides on easy without looking cheeseball. There’s a Conditioning Eyebrow Primer which not only makes your brows look juicy delicious, it’s nutrient rich and helps them actually grow fuller. There have been various trials on this and Browvo, as it’s called has come up trumps every time.
There’s also another amazing product, a Brow Highlighter so your brows get dimension as well as lustre. I love a dark brow with a lighter highlight but of course you could go the other way round. We’re talking dimension and attitude. I’m thrilled with all of my Benefit products. They even come in a see-through pouch so they can travel together through airports if you need them to. When I have good brows I don’t even feel the need for much other make-up.
The brows say it all. If you’ve got five minutes, it’s brows, mascara, lipgloss. Even for people like me who have been known to wear make up to the gym and the supermarket. Prices in the brow range are from £18.50.
