In hopes of warmer weather and constant sun I’ve put together a summer outfit for all city activities. All the pieces can be paired into a million other outfits as well.

A chic pair of sunglasses for everyday wear to block the sun and enable you to stare at a handsome fellow are always a good idea. Sunglasses are not only good for your eyes, they are good for adding flavor to outfits too. I love the blonde tortoise shell of these Roland Mouret glasses.

Lax button-ups are a staple in a woman’s wardrobe. Slip into one for a day of errands or wear it to a drinks at Zander in Westminster. Button all the way to the top for a tailored professional look or leave it unbuttoned to show some cleavage. Loosely roll the sleeves to the elbow or leave them buttoned at the wrist, whatever you prefer.

It’s not uncommon for trends from the 50s, 60s, 70s, you get the idea, to do a U-turn and make us love them all over again. And if we’re lucky, our mothers still have their high-waisted Levis and button front denim skirts from their younger years lying around in the depths of their closets.
Denim skirts are totally a blast from the past. I recommend tucking in shirts with denim skirts, not all the way, but with at least the front tails tucked in and the back loosely lying on the bum. Darker denim is year-round so don’t be afraid to slip on stockings and booties in the fall/winter and sandals and wedges in the summer/spring.

A neutral sandal is great to slip on with anything and everything. The gladiator sandal has been a constant staple in women’s summer fashion. Nowadays I’m leaning more towards sandals that don’t have a back zipper. Fashion requires going the extra mile so forget about the zipper and tie the tassel!

Matt & Nat is a Canadian brand that focuses on creating products that are vegan leather and eco-friendly. Their products come in a range of sizes, styles and colors. Backpacks are proving themselves to be more than just school bags. They’re a good grab-and-go item to venture through the tube, grab lunch with a friend and head to beloved work.
Have your way with these items by mixing and matching with other bottoms and tops already in your wardrobe. The possibilities are endless!
