Logan Lerman.
There are some faces in Hollywood that we just can’t seem to escape. One such face is that of Logan Lerman. (Not that we’re complaining.) This year alone, he appeared alongside Russell Crowe and Emma Watson in the biblically inspired epic Noah, and most recently starred with Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf in World War II film Fury, which premiered at October’s BFI London Film Festival to rave reviews. With every passing year of his career, he proves that he is truly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the acting world.
Having grown up in a family of doctors and workers in the medical profession, Logan considers himself the “black sheep” of his family. From a young age he held a passion for movies, although he considered his early acting roles something to do “just for fun” and excuses to miss school. He played the son of Mel Gibson in The Patriot, a role which earned him his first of many nominations throughout his career for the Young Artist Award. Although he regularly worked in films in the following years, one that probably sticks out in your mind the most is his starring role as a demigod in the Percy Jackson series, which gave him his first big break in 2010. He also starred as an angsty teen in the movie adaptation of wildly popular novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower, alongside Emma Watson and Ezra Miller.
At 22, in his most recent film, Fury, Logan plays Norman Ellison, a young typist thrown into the role of assistant tank driver in a crew led by Brad Pitt (Wardaddy). In the film Norman is intimidated by Wardaddy, a situation that is somewhat mirrored in real life between the two actors. Logan has said of working with Brad, “It’s intimidating when you’re in a room with him, but he’s—it’s just such an overused term—down-to-earth. He’s just a dude. It’s Brad Pitt, the world’s biggest movie star. But it’s a situation where he’s your sergeant. And meeting your sergeant for the first time is an intimidating experience, let alone if it’s Brad Pitt.” (Watch the trailer for Fury here!)

Some quick facts you really should know about Logan:
He decided he wanted to be an actor at 2.5 after watching a Jackie Chan movie.
He plays piano and guitar. Swoon.
He loves dogs.
And Harry Potter.
But most importantly, he can rock a beachy wave.
