Floral took a whole new and exciting twist during the Aw16 catwalk shows, showcasing an embroidered trend. Rather than an all-over floral print, nature style motifs are embroidered into the fabric, giving it more of a 3D feel.
We love the mixture of materials too, for example combining sheer mesh against the stitched-in pattern, giving a wonderful diversity in texture.
Butterflies, birds, even tigers and snakes have joined the wild, wonderful nature mix – and they’ve made their way onto tops, skirts, and jackets and dresses. Anything, basically. This boho-hippie chic vibe is THE trend that we all want to get involved with this summer.
