“The band you know. The story you don’t.”
The highly anticipated documentary film about one of the world’s most famous boy bands, The Beatles, has set its world premiere date, alongside a trailer and poster.
This documentary takes a look at their phenomenal career and the period in which The Beatles toured and captured the world’s attention and of course, their devotion. Featuring rare and exclusive footage, the film has been created with the full cooperation of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison.
Director Ron Howard bases the docu-film on how John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr came together to form the band that changed the world. The film will focus on the time period from the Beatles’ early days in 1962 playing the Cavern Club in Liverpool to their last concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco in 1966.
