You’ve really got to feel for the retailers this season.
From high-street to boutique to department store, window displays and merchandise alike have been teasing us with the promise of summer and headier climes, but sadly us shoppers have been holding off on new season purchases because, quite frankly, we simply haven’t had the weather to wear any of those crisp white broderie anglaise numbers or flesh-baring bralets that we’ve had our eyes on for months.
And now, just as the weather dares to heat up – and foreign travel is on the not-so-distant horizon – it’s sales season.
So, plot your route, slip into your nude undies and grab your New Balance, because we’ll be making up for lost time – and a severely lacking summer wardrobe – in the up-and-coming sales.
