Jessica Seinfeld was initially better known as the wife of Jerry Seinfeld, but she has since made her own reputation in the nutrition and cooking. Her first aims were to show parents how to get vegetables and essential vitamins into children’s daily meals.
Jessica herself was brought up cooking with her mother and derives a great deal of satisfaction from creating meals for the family herself. Now she has turner her literary attentions to creating The Can’t Cook Book: Recipes for the Absolutely Terrified (£18.99) that simplifies the process of cooking, and encourages people to get playing in the kitchen, no matter what their experience level.
Jessica has concentrated on providing recipes that require as few ingredients and steps as possible. Her priorities were to provide instructions that don’t boggle the mind, but use ingredients of the highest nutritional quality. Written for those who excel in every area of their life except for cooking, whether they be high powered career men or women, full time mothers or fathers or ambitious young students who opt for a high end ready meal or deli takeout over stepping foot in the kitchen, Jessica Steinfeld’s new book offers over 100 photographed recipes with a detailed ‘How To’ section accompanied by links to online videos of her own filmed instructions.
The Can’t Cook Book is a thoroughly enjoyable read for those who consider themselves a dab hand in the kitchen too! Talk about an all-rounder. Hats off to Mrs Steinfeld, she’s done it again.
