The Harry Potter Shop on Platform 9¾ Opens

December 13, 2012

The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾

Harry Potter fans take note. This Saturday 15th December at the un-worldy hour of 7.30 am, The Harry Potter Shop located at Platform 9 ¾ of King’s Cross Station will open for your purchasing pleasure.

And where better to buy your golden platform 9¾ collectible train tickets, wands, robes, uniforms and other Harry Potter memorabilia than the exact spot where Harry began his journey to Hogwarts?

Speaking ahead of this weekend’s launch, Jonathan Sands of London Film Museum and Platform 9 ¾ King’s Cross Ltd said,

“ We are proud to be opening the official Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾ in association with Warner Bros. Consumer Products as this is precisely where Harry’s journey to Hogwarts began. King’s Cross Station has recently undergone the most amazing re-development and we are delighted to be a part of it thanks to Network Rail.”

Almost more exciting than a visit to Santa’s Grotto, The Harry Potter shop looks to be a world of wonder and awe for kids (and some adults, ahem, us) this Christmas.
