Believe it or not, but Karlie Kloss turned 21 over the weekend. From campaign to catwalk to cookies, the model, one of our current faves on the circuit thanks to her effortless grace, fresh-faced glow and that hair cut, spent the weekend partying as only she could. Together with her tight-knit Kloss clan – sisters, Kristine, and twins Kariann and Kimberly – (could they be the Kardashians of the fashion world?), the celebrity guest list boasted fellow models Cara Delevingne and Joan Smalls, designer Prabal Gurung and fellow St. Louis native Derek Blasberg – there were also appearances from Emma Watson and Tyra Banks.
Dressed in a suitably fiery red Dolce & Gabbana number paired with sky high Louboutins (not that she needs any more height!); nothing stopped Karlie from hitting the dancefloor at the Paramount Hotel in Times Square.
If you’re a fellow Karlie instagram follower, you’ll know that the celebration ended with a family trip to Disneyworld. How sweet.
“I started this career in fashion when I was fourteen years old, and it’s gone by in a”—snap—“flash,” said Kloss. “It’s funny because I’ve already been able to travel the world and buy my own home, but only now can I finally have a drink!”
