The Victoria’s Secret store in Bond Street is always buzzing with keen shoppers, and it has now become one of the city’s biggest retail attractions in terms of visitors, much like Abercrombie & Fitch’s flagship UK store did when it first made itself known. Gaggles of girls flock around swinging Victoria’s Secret bags around with pride, the pink stripes are unmistakeable.
Flashing across screens in store are clips from the infamous Victoria’s Secret show, which is a large sparkling dot on the fashion calendar. Since its beginnings in 1995 it has always been held in America but this year? Wait for it….it’s hitting London. Yes, this December London’s Earls Court will play host to the always hotly anticipated event.

It’s not just a debut of the new collections. It’s far, far more than that. It’s a concert (the likes of Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Rihanna have all performed for it), it’s a party, it’s a beauty journalist’s field day, a costume exhibition, it’s pure theatre. And this year it will all come to London.
The media attention is going to be ridiculous. That many super models under one roof?! Not to mention the music performers, stylists, and VIP audience members.

Victoria’s Secret angels Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel visited the London store with marketing director Ed Razek to make the announcement. Apparently Razek has also told our very own Cara Delevingne to pop the date in her diary (2nd December), so watch this space.
