The beauty of living in a big city is that there’s always something to do. We’ve combed through some of the things going on in London between Jan-Mar, so here is our list of new restaurant openings, exhibitions and activities coming up over the next few months.
Boom Brunch
Fiume Restaurant (just opened) is partnering with Boom Cycle to have a “Boom Brunch” on 28 January at 12 pm. As part of the event, REN will provide skin care for you afterwards and give out gift sets to take home, and you can finish out the event with Fiume’s brunch to help you refuel.
Canary Wharf Ice Rink
If you’re still enjoying the cold, you should head to The Canary Wharf Ice Rink before February 24. They usually have skating times from 10 am to 10 pm, and there is a rink sidebar if you’d rather watch other people fall rather than do the falling yourself.
Kew Gardens Orchid Festival
If you’re counting the days til warmer weather, you might want to visit the Orchid Festival at Kew Gardens instead. This year, the gardens are inspired by the Orchids of Thailand. There will be handmade Thai umbrellas and even a Bang Pa inspired Orchid Palace. The festival lasts from 10 February till 11 March.

Voga on the Rooftop
The House of Voga is returning to the Coq d’Argent rooftop with a class at 11 am on 4 February. Voga combines yoga and “vogu-ing” to empower with strong, confident poses to better your flexibility, energy and confidence levels. After the class, you are invited to eat a healthy vegan meal made with lots of root vegetables… yum!
Hot Gin Roof
Hot Gin Roof, a pop-up rooftop bar at Ham Yard Hotel, will be running through to the 17 February. You can cosy up on the roof with their wool blankets while trying their various 20’s inspired hot gin drinks.
Hampton Court Half Marathon
If you’re looking for a race to run, you should register to run the Hampton Court Half Marathon. The flat course boasts great scenery around the Hampton Court Palace. The race is on 18 February, and you can register here.
Best of Broadway

You can head to Royal Albert Hall on 14 March if you’d like the see a show with music from favourites from Broadway and West End. This year’s line up will include pieces from Disney’s classic musicals, like The Lion King and Aladdin, as well as favourites from Wicked and The Phantom of the Opera. You can look at tickets here.
