Jo Malone’s latest collection ‘English Fields’ is designed to take you into the landscapes of England with a mix of grainy and floral scents you won’t be able to resist. The simple scents are perfect alone or worn together if you want something that stands out a bit more.
Mathilde Bijaoui, the master perfumer behind the collection, grew up in the fields of France. She’s since moved to the UK where she’s been able to spend time in the countryside that’s textures, colours, and harvest traditions inspired the collection. Her hope was to capture the way that the grasses and wheat mix with the bright and bold flowers through mixing their scents.
Poppy and Barley has a fruity blackcurrant scent mixed with barley and musk. Primrose and Rye smells of roses, vanilla, and rye. Oat and Cornflower mixes scents of oats, cornflower, and hazelnuts. Honey and Crocus should be refreshing with hints of lavender mixed among the honey and crocuses. Green Wheat and Meadowsweet is perfectly reminiscent of spring. It combines green wheat with grapefruit and meadowsweet.
These scents will be available in March for £47 each, and they’re sure to be the perfect way to get you prepared for springtime.
