Despite last week’s news that Victoria’s Secret was to postponed the opening of its two London stores. The US lingerie giant has now announced that original plans to launch in time for the Olympics are now set to go ahead. With stores planned for Bond Street and Stratford’s Westfield Shopping Centre, all eyes are on East London, with July 24th announced as the opening date for Westfield, with Bond Street to open just a couple of weeks later.
Despite the obvious excitement of having new-found easy access to the covetable lingerie and swimwear without begging jet-setting friends to bring them back from the States for us, what we mere mortals are most thrilled about is the possibility of catching a glimpse of one of the high-profile ‘Angels’. Both Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambrosia’s names have been bandied about as rumour that the Angels will be brandishing their wings for the Bond Street stores opening night party. . .
