Vulgar. Vulgar. Vulgar.
Well, now that I have your attention and your mind is full of provocative or shocking images…I am not going to apologise.
Rather, I am going to urge you to attend The Vulgar: Fashion Redefined. This is the first exhibition of its time and has sought out to have guests consider the challenging territory of vulgar taste and rethink what makes something considerably vulgar.
The exhibition will take guests on an eye opening journey that will ultimately blow your mind as you take a fascinating look at the literary definition of the word “vulgar.”
Beginning in the Renaissance you will be transported throughout time as you weave together a series of historic designs and understand how the word vulgar has become associated with the height of fashion.
Now, there is no reason to be intimidated or feel sensitive about the term – instead – just remember…
